I am presently using Skype under Linux. I've had some initial problems
with it in that I could not get a response from the test call and
assumed that this was due to some sort of problem with my headset and
Linux as it worked perfectly using Skype with Windows XP. For the hell
of it I phoned a friend on Skype while in Ubuntu and was able to chat
with him. Later I called up Skype in Ubuntu and surprise, surprise
raised the test call, was able to record and hear my own voice! Now am
only having problems having my password accepted. In spite of asking
for to be remembered, I sometimes have to enter several times before it
is accepted. I have no real problem with the quality of sound.
