https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-uk/2007-March/003873.html Your suggestion was a phone line where people phone in rather than the Ohio LoCo who are doing a call-back system. Technically different but of course similar in many ways. If by "knocked back" you mean the only reply you had (from me) :) https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-uk/2007-March/003876.html My concerns still apply in exactly the same way. Cost, time, no call capture, inability to multi-task (I can watch CSI and answer support email at the same time - that's hard on the phone) and so on. If those issues can be ironed out - including those raised in the previous thread then I'd be happy to help out. > Anyway, there are always VoIP regional and 0845 numbers available... > Yeah, I registered with sipgate.co.uk for a local (inbound only free, outbound cost) number. Maybe that could be used for people to call into if that was the way round that you wanted to go. People could take it in turns to logon to the sipgate account in ekiga to take the calls :) Cheers, Al.
