I've made this same point on past IRC meetings and here on the list. I personally believe the magazine should cater to everyone but there are strong voices that it should be more of a marketing tool (hence our group's involvement) over a communications tool. I think over the past several weeks and with us fleshing out a sample table of contents, we have mostly agreed with what you (and others) have proposed. But the discussion doesn't end there. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. We happen to share the same opinion here, others do not. What will matter equally, if not actually have more emphasis, is whether or not we can produce sufficient cross-skill content for the magazine. As "Nixy Rich" will point out, there is some overlap today between the newsletter and the Magazine which Sara, Jenda, Rich and others have been discussing about with the project team. I encourage you to come to meetings, make your thoughts heard, and sign up for work. :-) Joey/Rinchen
