@Mauro, I tried sudo -i (same as sudo su AFAIK) with no success. Just add that line to rc.local and be done with it. My CPU temperature indicator is showing 38C now (compared to 60s before). Stays in low 40s most of the time. No fan heard. Battery life: 5.5-6 hours (verified) - moderate use: browsing, etc.
A nice way to check those interrupts (instead of cat-ing every files) is: grep . -r /sys/firmware/acpi/interrupts/ Glad we found a workaround. I am curious about other notebooks in this thread (Lenovo, etc.).
