I have an 3830TG and also I switch headphones - speakers without any problem so far. The internal microphone captures with too much noise, while an analog mic captures with a more acceptable quality but still noisy. Thanks for the contributions to every one. Hopefully the mic can be fixed in order to use skype properly.
