Yes I agree, unfortunately regressions seem more common than an exception these days. Every new release of Ubuntu since version 8.10 brakes more then it fixes, most of those regressions still persist today.. They should make one of the releases in the 6 month cycle completely dedicated to resolving issues instead of introducing new features which often have lots of bugs as well. A shame! I kinda liked the the philosophy behind Ubuntu.. The "it just works" part begins to crumble away..
