I also had the same issues as reported by many, the most cited being Kyle [ https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update- manager/+bug/84717/comments/110 ]. On my laptop, which was done this weekend, I must have either waited long enough, or hit "Cancel" on the error as things did eventually finish out.
Armed with that weekend experience, when I did my desktop here at work, I thought I would be smart and kill the error box when it came up. For some reason, this killed the whole upgrade process. I restarted Adept, updating the list again, but was not prompted to restart the upgrade. Not sure of what else to do, I rebooted. Things came up fine, ... sort of. It is very clear that the new KDE themes were not applied or properly configured. There may be other issues. So, my question is: Is there anyway to re-run just the "Clean-up" phase of the upgrader by- hand? -- SRU: updates necessary for Kubuntu Upgrade Tool in Edgy https://launchpad.net/bugs/84717 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
