u.exp, FYI, I just tried another fresh Karmic installation through Wubi and have noticed that Hardware Driver could successfully discover the working driver (Broadcom STA) upon the first boot-up. Therefore, if you can afford it, please try to install Ubuntu again (where Wubi would grab the latest fixes in the process) or you may use Update Manager to download those possible fixes.
The pool folder is in the installation media, may it an installation CD or a USB disk made from karmic *.iso image. To install the *.deb file, you may first locate it through the file manager and moue double-click on it to install it; in my case, the installation media is mounted as /media/my-disk, and the pool directory can be found in /media/my-disk/pool Hope the above helps. -- No wireless on Dell Mini 10v https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/477107 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
