Some code is always better than no code - at best, the code will be good enough to fit the needs, and will end up in wide use. At worst, the writers will say "we learned some lessons from this" and try again.

OSS is often using the XP methodology and we all learn from mistakes.

BTW, we should cleanup many things to see what good parts could be used
in HTTPD-dev, and it will start ad minima by extracting AJP part from
jk/jk2...
