You mean these : [EMAIL PROTECTED] control]# ls *.lock -la -rw------- 1 root root 0 Jun 23 09:27 locals.lock -rw------- 1 root root 0 Jun 23 09:27 morercpthosts.lock -rw------- 1 root root 0 Jun 23 09:25 rcpthosts.lock -rw------- 1 root root 0 Jun 23 09:27 virtualdomains.lock ?? I have 2 machines. The /var/qmail/controls directory is an NFS export from the customer facing machine. The internet facing machine mounts this directory in read-only mode. I *thought* there was no reason to have write access to that directory ... perhaps I'm mistaken? > Shane > > >-----Original Message----- > >From: Jason 'XenoPhage' Frisvold [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > >Sent: Thursday, 24 June 2004 12:28 AM > >To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > >Subject: Re: [toaster] rcpthosts problem - I'm stumped! > > > >On Wed, 2004-06-23 at 12:21, Bill Shupp wrote: > >> What's the entry in /var/qmail/users/assign?
