Nope, don't want that.. This is virtual and should be handled by vpopmail... > 2. Or, be in the virtualdomains file, with a mapping to a specific user Hrm... mapping to a specific user? Here are the lines in the virtualdomains file : shoenerenvironmental.com:shoenerenvironmental.com mail.shoenerenvironmental.com:mail.shoenerenvironmental.com I *think* that means the username matches the domain name.... > 3. If that user has an entry in /var/qmail/users/cdb (via the assign > text file), then it will look to that directory *rather* than a system > account. Right, so that user (the domain name) is in my /var/qmail/users/assign file as seen here : +shoenerenvironmental.com-:shoenerenvironmental.com:89:89:/home/vpopmail/domains/shoenerenvironmental.com:-:: +mail.shoenerenvironmental.com-:shoenerenvironmental.com:89:89:/home/vpopmail/domains/shoenerenvironmental.com:-:: I get a "binary file matches" when I grep for it in the cdb.. not sure how to "read" the cdb file to ensure this, but I re-ran qmail-newu *just* to be sure.. Still the same problem tho.. *boggle* My customer-facing server accepts this without a problem ... But the /var/qmail/control and /var/qmail/users directories are identical on both machines (NFS mounted) .... > My guess is that either your virtualdomains file or your assign file has > an error. > > Regards, > > Bill -- --------------------------- Jason 'XenoPhage' Frisvold Engine / Technology Programmer [EMAIL PROTECTED] RedHat Certified - RHCE # 803004140609871 MySQL Pro Certified - ID# 207171862 MySQL Core Certified - ID# 205982910 --------------------------- "Something mysterious is formed, born in the silent void.
