This won't happen, for a variety of technical and political reasons.
GNOME and KDE have markedly different design philosophies.  Also, Qt
is a dog (terribly inefficient!).

Last I checked the license Qt is to be released under is NOT
GPL-compliant.  IHMO, IANYAL.
