I think it's easiest to think of it as just different programs running in 
different environments.  Win3.1 apps running in win95/98/NT always look a 
little funky.  Diff widget sets just make pretty little borders/ways of 
looking at something.

I just stick with KDE, as I believe it'll be taking over the world.
