I hadn't thought of that. I always used my lid for quick suspend, and hibernate only by manual choice when I knew I wouldn't be opening it again for an hour or more. I suppose that hibernation as a result of the lid switch should fall back to suspend if it fails. That shouldn't be too difficult to do. Of course, you could disable hibernation as a choice for the lid switch, but keep it on the menu for manual use. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.17 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJSyyQeAAoJEI5FoCIzSKrw0DoH/1bZiCcBNjPs6ezIRSjCcj8s uohsrT2v85DLP4BcPukzEOaruY9ZhrpLkscAKXVN02sGOMHjJJ6xUEyobwS/9fRN UAYgcV0XImJAWvOpBSHogMJbcl4h4axFYPt5FbTUZGBB+4DdRkQJzs0Wxdxz0iMt ivk5QwnXp02itBtkfV2F3NNnjRMuRYKS5Jni+UXQqiOcsKjfJj5qmW4tg/4Izo8P /hBT64rv3G/Bm/QKXym7kFwT3S2LtvPGhroe4PACKROsxSUOzmMWIz4RP0QvPGxQ BJMsyQRb6ujrdSu7jZ5kjr/nTdo7R1BLKbeTTJkNtodRZGNDyROsyV1Bp7kM7mY= =xozd -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- technical-board mailing list technical-board@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/technical-board
