I've done something like this a couple of times in the past and it was a
cooling nightmare if you don't build airflow into it from the beginning.
The practical issue is that you need a way to get the hot air out of the
space without it circulating around the rack. If you can get a rack that
handles this for you, it's well worth it. It's amazing how fast the high
speed fans in a couple of computers can heat up a small room.
