That is a good point on touch screen phones. I normally have my phone on me so don't have to pick it up. It is in my shirt pocket. My touch screen phone I use for work so don't receive many called on it at all. My own personal cell phone is still my trusty N95. The work one is a Nokia 700. Yes it has some issues with Talks but far as little as it gets used it works.

Caleb, No those things u mentioned, it won't be copied. But most important,
all info in a contact, regardless if you have changed label or not will be
copied.

Steve, for me personally, the reason to assign ring tone is cause we want to know without picking up the phone which group of friend is calling or who is calling. One good example, I assign a special tone to my family members and
of course when I hear that ring tone, I will sure pick it up.

Ring tones also come in handy when u using touch screen phones like me, E6. but the time u find the Talks button and then have to press the side volume key, the call would have stop ringing. Worst, at times, the command to check
who's calling like your Softkey-2 won't even work. smiles.

Numbers will come across. Custom lables will not! This is why you shouldn't create your own lables. Assigned ring tones for each name from what I recall will not come across. Why I don't use them. After all, I can press SoftKey2
to here who is calling.

Does phone switch copies all the data including assign tone, default
numbers and labels? The last time I used it, I thought it didn't.
Thanks.

You can also just mark all of your contacts and copy them to the memory
card. Then remove the card and put it in the other phone and then go into
the contacts and tell it to copy from memory card to restore the file to
that phone. You could also use pc suite to do it. So now you have three
way
to get your contacts to another phone. With way you use is up to you.
