Phones such as the N85,N79, N96 and those others that come before these models were not even hinted at getting this update. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Allan" <em...@nextg.my> To: "Talks Mailing List" <talks@talksusers.com> Sent: Monday, July 11, 2011 9:19 AM Subject: Re: [Talks] phone update talks vs mobilespeak hi, there's nothing for us to debate for, i mention 9.3 is for general and no point for me to list down all the effected devices. and furthermore, no one can tell which phone will or will not get the update, because all decition is on nokia. thank you. -- Cheers, Allan (WKF) "Life is impermanent, happiness is not a necessity, a person must cherish the people around them." ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brad Keller" <keller...@gmail.com> To: "Talks Mailing List" <talks@talksusers.com> Sent: Monday, July 11, 2011 22:12 Subject: Re: [Talks] phone update talks vs mobilespeak Allen this is not true. Not all 9.3 phones were affected by this update. Off the top of my head I know my N85 and the N79 were not affected by this. There was a list of models posted that was affected. I can't remember the URL that was given to the page where those models were listed but if someone searched the archives it could probably be found. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Allan" <em...@nextg.my> To: "Talks Mailing List" <talks@talksusers.com> Sent: Monday, July 11, 2011 6:34 AM Subject: Re: [Talks] phone update talks vs mobilespeak the reason for nokia to release this latest fw is to give all s60 9.3 and 9.4 devices the same web browser as the same like the one in Symbian Anna which user can open page in tab like the experience in internet explorer on windows computer. i dont think current release of talks can work on the latest symbian web browser for s60 9.3, 9.4 or even symbian Anna. -- Cheers, Allan (WKF) "Life is impermanent, happiness is not a necessity, a person must cherish the people around them." ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bernard Hemmings" <li...@bhemmings.net> To: "Talks Mailing List" <talks@talksusers.com> Sent: Monday, July 11, 2011 19:19 Subject: Re: [Talks] phone update talks vs mobilespeak I understand that but it's only been recently say the last 2 or 3 updates that have effected talks in this way.
