I know I am responding to this email, almost two months late, but I've not been paying attention to my cell phone lists recently.

Anyway, I looked on my E65 and the uparrow or carrot symbol does exist, however, it is called "power sign". As soon as I heard that, I knew it was likely to be the carrot symbol. From way back when, in the days of only ascii, people would use the carrot as the exponent sign. I had a sighted coworker confirm that "power sign" was definitely the carrot symbol.
