Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I tried your suggestion, I manually muted Talks before I press the dial key, yet Talks still interferes.

If your talks is muted while on a call, you can momentarily unmuted by
pressing the clear button. This is a keystroke that can be used on the fly,
but it does not permanently make the change for subsequent calls.

I set my Talks to always mute during a call, yet it is still interfereing,
which is inconvenient especially when I am checking out my remaining
balance.
Is there something else to set to fix this behavior?
