Hello, Thank you for your interest in OSM, as a cyclist and author of Cyclosm.org on which charging station is visible, I'm interesting in this kind of data.
I have two remarks : « Geolocation data was gained based on adresses and geocoding. » I understand from this, that the location is not perfectly known but only based on the address of the station's operator, for instance it's not possible to know if the charging station is in the front of the building of behind in the yard ? This would not be a big issue, but a fixme tag could be added to precise that and inform local mappers to check the precise location. «if the location is open or not via Website or phone. » And the previous point make me think these stations may be free but reserved for customers. If that the case, I think the tag bicycle=customers should be used to precise that. If it's unknown bicycle=yes will be fine. If there is a fee use the tag fee=*.
