I think it’s already common practice to include the grounds if any are present (for smaller ones there won’t often be any grounds anyway, and most of them are probably mapped as nodes anyway). There’s already the building tag to say where is a building, and if you add these tags only to buildings you’d get into trouble in case they occupy more than one building, not?
