We have a building where there is a roof height that changes elevation by 10'-0".
The higher roof will have ESFR protection. The lower roof will be ordinary hazard. I would like to utilize extended coverage sprinkler heads at the lower roof on a spacing of 20'-0" x 20'-0" This spacing voids the QR rating of the extended coverage sprinkler. I thought that there was something in the code that I cannot find where it talks of change in roof height.
