Until now the bayesian scoring and sa-learn have been working ok when that strange phenomenon was not happening. When the strange phenomenon was going on there were some temporary files in ~/.spamassassin and spamassassin itself was non-functional. "sa-learn --rebuild" wouldn't work for about a day, but after that it fixed the database files and spamassassin (as well as bayesian scoring inside it) started working again. But as I said, now it's different. Now there are no external signs of something being broken. Spamassassin works even though the bayesian classifier doesn't (earlier neither would work) and it has been several days this way. > It would be useful if you show some ls output here. "temporary files" > isn't specific. As I said, there are no temporary files now, and I don't remember their names. The contents of my ~/.spamassassin is now: bayes_journal 138 889 -rw------- 22.10.03 15:01 warp 3980 bayes_msgcount 2 115 -rw------- 22.10.03 15:01 warp 3980 bayes_seen 991 232 -rw------- 20.10.03 14:12 warp 3980 bayes_toks 8 019 968 -rw------- 20.10.03 14:12 warp 3980 user_prefs 356 -rw------- 01.01.03 01:01 warp 3980 But sa-learn and the bayesian scorer is not working. I have not changed anything from my part. (I can't say if the perl installation in this system has changed because I'm just a user, not the administrator responsible for that.) > You do have DB_File installed right? I don't know.
