I'm sure you have RTFM. Maybe its because you're in a hurry. But you simply run spamd with options, Like "Spamd -d -c -a", then it runs as a process. Then you call spamc instead of spamassassin. The procmail examples that are in the manual show that as well. Maybe I've misunderstood the question. I hope that is the answer you are looking for. Don't worry about being late for work.
