just wondering if anyone has seen this occurring much?? the spamd child process here is running for 6 minutes and 50 seconds. i had 3 processes this morning that were running for 14 minutes or more as well. it has nothing to do with expiry since i set expiry count to 200k and run my expiries at night. i have to end up killing the pid or the load starts to crawl up. this morning my load was 20, and after i killed that pid it dropped to .8. it's like spamd is looping. maybe this applies to boog #1927 http://bugzilla.spamassassin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1927 i was not able to [k|s|p]trace any of the processes.
