It's true, though. Think: "my neighbor's Ford goes at 160 m.p.h., and I can't even get mine up to 100. Can anybody tell me why?" Who would ask such a stupid question? Not many. Yet many people on most lists (not just this one) refuse to give any details whatsoever on what they're asking questions about.


I'm running client-side SAProxy 1.1.0 on windows98. Using Netscape 7 email reader.

Ermmm the question is SA specific, not SAProxy, I would have thought. You said:

All of the later 2.5x SA and certainly my 2.60-CVS parse and decode base64-encoded stuff and then run normal tests on it. Decoding base64 isn't difficult but adopting use of it became a spammer ploy to fool more naive filters.

So what version of SA are you using? What model and what year is your Ford?
