I'm surpressing the urge to make a cute remark about "nothing was touched in that area of code". (G) Too many years in this business makes me superstitious.
:)
So... that still leaves the mystery that 2.55 seems slightly less discriminator thay 2.60. Let's let this drop until I have a few thousand spams caught and then I'll pick it up if its warrantted.
Just thinking - you reduced your rbl_timeout to 5 didn't you ? (Like me) Possibly it is timing out sometimes, so not all messages would be getting RBL checks done if there were DNS delays... maybe bump it up to 10 seconds and see if that has an effect...
Pity that SA doesn't add a little note in the headers along the lines of "RBL checks skipped due to timeout" or something similar. Would make debugging this kind of issue much easier....<looks in developers direction>..... :)
