I had a quick glance at the website, and wandered onto the page where he discusses why it's difficult for spammers to filter their lists for the addresses generated by sugarplum. That discussion suggests that some portion of the "random" domains in the addresses are deliberately designed to be real domains for which MX lookups will succeed. This is bad, if it's really how it works. Causing more spam to be sent to innocent third parties, even if to non-existent local-parts, isn't helping anyone. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Etnus, makers of TotalView, The best thread debugger on the planet.
