I'd love to hear (either on-list or off) for any suggestions on what this thing should be able to do. Any architectural ideas for making it extensible for other people to use would be helpful. I want to focus on people who use user_prefs files, since the MySQL users seem to be reasonable taken care of.
I just added some features tonight to allow the script to run as suid root safer, as well as allowing it to run as the web server uid (assuming it has proper r/w permission for the files it needs obviously). Next thing I want to do is rip out all the hard coded HTML stuff and template-ize it a bit.
Looking forward to hearing your ideas. Thanks.
Victor
