The huge, number one, red flag, must-have thing is content. Make your bulk mailings worth the time it takes to read them. I can't tell you how many builk mailing lists I've opted into, just to find they were *worthless*. Not even worth the time it took to delete them. If you put real content in your emails, real information, your subscribers will take the time to realize they aren't spam. The EFF, Environmental Defense Fund, and the ACLU all have bulk lists I'm subscribed to - and every email I recieve from them is packed with information I'm interested in. Sometimes SA flags them as spam - but the fact that I find them valuable makes me take the time to whitelist them. I really think content is the key to legitimate bulk mailing - if you put the focus there, most other things will fall into place. and the ACLU all have bulk lists I'm subscribed to - and every email I recieve from them is packed with information I'm interested in. Sometimes SA flags them as spam - but the fact that I find them valuable makes me take the time to whitelist them. Oh, and another thing - don't do elaborate layout in ASCII text. Again, the EFF/ACLU newsletters are a great example of what has credability to me. -- Ross Vandegrift [EMAIL PROTECTED] A Pope has a Water Cannon. It is a Water Cannon. He fires Holy-Water from it.
