> So, spamc is the daemon is it not? spamd is the daemon, spamc is the client :) sorry, seeing procmail made me think of spawning the whole spamassassing for each mail. so, you're hitting loadavg of 4 and more. thats no reason to worry (especially with the big mail servers), if you want to dig more to find the cause, play with vmstat, iostat and top and determine what the bottleneck is. with quad xeons i'd say it's the disk, so you see 4 and more processes waiting on the runqueue (that's what loadavg number means). -- Jure Pecar
