Yeah, it's the basic definition of "distributed system" (when a system
somewhere that you've never heard of can stop you from doing any work...)
I typically process messages in < 2 seconds each with a number of RBLs
and Razor, but sometimes it takes ~30 seconds with the most taking a
little over 2 minutes (142 seconds).
