I've actually been planning to set up a service like this on my server. I've run into lots of people who think that SA is a good idea, but installing it themselves or convincing an ISP to do so is beyond them. Unlike other spam-filtering services, this one would admit up front that it runs SpamAssassin and refer people to the SA site for more information. I'm working on a web-based signup and preferences system. The users would be able to set their own SA threshold, and mail over the threshold goes to a separate IMAP box that they can either check using a mail client or a web-based interface. The web interface will display a list of subjects and SA scores, let them select "delete" or "send to regular mailbox" for each message, and allow viewing of messages in case there's some doubt. I was planning to charge $5-10 a month for this service and see if anyone bites. Any comments or suggestions (or rants about what a bad idea this is) would be greatly appreciated. I'll probably be ready to deploy it sometime next month. -- michael moncur mgm at starlingtech.com http://www.starlingtech.com/ "In this business you either sink or swim or you don't." -- David Smith _______________________________________________ Spamassassin-talk mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/spamassassin-talk
