> I just pushed out the new scores (and a bugfix or two) as 2.11 The new scores look MUCH better. By the way, using my corrected scores with 2.1 for the last few days, I've had excellent results. Not a single false positive and only a couple missed spams. I think the new scores will be even better.
Here's a quick list of the scores I still think might need tweaking: NEGATIVE SCORES that weren't indended to be: (probably by now most of these are just bad rules and should be set to zero) score CASHCASHCASH -0.839 score COMMUNIGATE -0.351 score DEAR_FRIEND -0.242 score DEAR_SOMEBODY -0.492 score EXCUSE_10 -0.408 score EXCUSE_12 -0.590 score FOR_JUST_SOME_AMT -0.148 score INCREASE_SALES -1.273 score LARGE_HEX -0.815 score MAILTO_LINK -0.226 score MAILTO_TO_REMOVE -0.107 score MSGID_HAS_NO_AT -0.320 score ONCE_IN_LIFETIME -0.405 score OPPORTUNITY -0.651 score PORN_6 -0.991 score PORN_8 -0.994 score PROFITS -0.162 score SUBJ_REMOVE -0.471 score SUSPICIOUS_CC_RECIPS -0.321 score TO_MALFORMED -0.050 score TRACKER_ID -3.369 (what happened to this one?) score X_PRIORITY_HIGH -1.168 NEGATIVE SCORES that are perhaps a bit too negative: score EGP_HTML_BANNER -6.039 score IN_REP_TO -5.029 score PGP_SIGNATURE -5.054 (I'm sure these were scored correctly, but any of them would be very easy for a spammer to add to a message to defeat SpamAssassin.) My only other concern is that a few scores might be a bit high - for example, CTYPE_JUST_HTML is at 4.459. This works for me, but I thought some people were having false positives on this rule recently. It wouldn't hurt to wait and see what people report, though. -- michael moncur mgm at starlingtech.com http://www.starlingtech.com/ "If we don't change direction soon, we'll end up where we're going." -- Professor Irwin Corey _______________________________________________ Spamassassin-talk mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/spamassassin-talk
