Translation:
  Your MUA is broken and you wish the list config to be
  broken to make it easier for you to manage.

Doing this forces replies to the list - often not a good thing, often
dangerous when you try to send a personal reply to someone and the
reply-to flips your reply onto the list.  It also gives a further excuse
for broken autoreply/vacation system to spam the list.

A decent MUA has a group/list reply function, as well as a standard
reply (ie reply to the original sender), and a reply-to-all function. 
Your change takes away these choices and means people have to work round
the list brokenness.

BTW some people don't agree with this.  Unfortunately that just makes
them wrong.
