I was quite active before 2002. I became very ill from exposure to
high concentrations of mold spores in a house I rented at 175
Greenbank Road in Nepean, Ottawa, Canada.

I rented the house to use as a base to contact the local
communication companies about my new invention, called Binary
Sampling. There is a small amount of information on my home page at
www.pstca.com. There was a lot more information posted, but I
removed it after discovering some major new applications that can
benefit from it. I'll update it after I get the patents filed.

I had just returned from a consulting trip to Karlsruhe, Germany. It
was wintertime. The outside temperature dropped to -30C, so you had
to close the windows, which stopped the fresh air ventilation. The
city vacancy rate was about 0.3%, and the only other places
available were worse that what I was already living in.

I had the city mold inspectors come to inspect the place for mold,
but since I used bleach on the concrete in the basement to kill the
live mold plants, they could do nothing since there was no visible
mold. That's the way their rules are written.

I figured I would try to stick it out until spring, and find another
place. I was sure the symptoms would wear off as soon as I got out
  of the current environmment.

I found another place. The symptoms did not wear off. They got much
  worse. They were debilitating.

I lost my consulting business, and moved from place to place to try
to escape the mold and try to figure out how to fight it.

It has taken almost a decade, but I am finally getting the symptoms
  under control.

My message to everyone is do not trust mold. As soon as you start
noticing symptoms, the damage is already done. It is permanent. Move
or eliminate the mold before it gets worse.

  > Another question....Have you found sodium chlorite to be effective
  > fighting mold in the home?

You mean bleach, or sodium hypochlorite (NaClO)? Yes, it will kill
the live plant, but not the spores. I use it daily. It destroys your
clothes, but I have found no alternative. Heat doesn't work. I have
started more fires in my microwave trying to heat blankets than I
care to admit. If my landlord found me running through the halls
with blazing blankets, he would evict me on the spot. Rightfully so:)

I am working on a new approach to sterilizing fabrics using ozone,
and will report the results as soon as it is up and running. It will
also destroy the fabric, but if I can kill the spores, it may not
require as many treatments or as often.

Yes, Mike D. talks about morphing subject lines in the home page. A
good search engine can overcome these problems.

The mail-archives has a good search engine <G>
