.... another action is the "use right foot first" while entering the
house (or any room inside the house like a puja room or kitchen). Most
people stand firm, on both feet, with neither being used for possibly
contaminating tasks. So how is the left foot related to contamination
and how is it that only the left foot gets contaminated? Someone once
told me : Right is wrong, Left is right !

Reading the discussion on contamination, its hard to believe that
Indians are spotlessly clean. Maybe they are at home but think nothing
of defecating on the streets and spitting in public. NIMBY !?
