Agreed, lowercase is more appropriate. I suspect that logo was most
popular because web2py.com uses it.

It doesn't require any extra setup or development time. Just purge the
database, and tell people to only submit logos that are based on the top
picks from this last phase.

don't. Not having any free time for myself is why I sug

How is it you all have time to spend on this? Is your employer
hiring? :)
I think we just need one more stage of logo submissions and then voting
(voting can only happen after the submission deadline), then there is a
voting deadline. But not voting while submission is still happening.
This time we have a constraint though. Take the top 3/4 performing logos,

the we2Wpy user base, however 17 percent of that number is most
certainly not. If you want something closer to a majority I would
suggest a runoff. It won't bruise my ego if my logo doesn't make it. I
know who I would vote for and

I'm not arguing with the choice; it's just an electora
I do not oppose a run-off if Bruno and Martin have the time to
continue with the project.
My guess is that the longer we drag this, the more people will lose
interest but I may be wrong.

We can store them all if the authors give them rights to do so.

Thanks Bruno for your hard work.
Although we have to choose one (and it seems to me we have a clear
winner), I propose we keep some of the alternative ones (I personally
like 8, 14, 21, 41, 76, 87, 89, 12, 112) and we make them available

Specifically regarding the current logo on web2py.com, it's worth
noting that the "2" is taller than the other letters, so the
appearance is not the same as a true all-caps logo (i.e., it's not the
same as seeing WEB2PY in regular text -- it actually feels a bit more
like web2py).

Isn't the voting going to be done such that votes for clone designs
will be aggregated? If so, artificially directing people to vote for
one of the designs might, in fact, skew the results and rob you of
useful information that might be used to improve the final pick. I

Isn't campaigning during the voting process electioneering? Seems
inappropriate for this competition, too. I think you made your choice
