Again, make sure you have Service Pack 3 or later. If this happens it is
usually due to bugs in Service Pack 1. Also note the Service Packs' warning
that if you add or change components on your system you should reapply the

Hi, I tried everywhere to find the solution to this. I am running Win2k

the wallpaper to remain unchanged. I use VNC to shadow sessions that are

Hi,
I have a problem with VNC and SSH tunneling setup.
I want a LoopbackOnly setup for security reasons.
But when I add LoopbackOnly, I can't connect anymore.
When I connect and only have the AllowLoopback-Value set, I can
connect fine, but (of course) everyone else can. So I think my

Is anyone here also subscribed to the Tridia VNC lists? Is there
any compelling reason to subscribe to both the normal and Tridia

We have one LAN, each domain has own PDC and BDC.
We are able to VNC the PDC and BDC across the domains, but cannot VNC the

Each domain has different IP's, Gateway's and WIN's.

We had a similiar situation at my institution, so we utilized a package
we already owned called Wise Installation Wizard.
Using on of their "listening" wizards, we installed VNC and then edited
the script that it made before compiling it for distribution within our

I've just downloaded the latest version of VNC (V3.3.3r9) and I'm currently

If it is a windows client, and you want to initiate a bunch of connections

It should be possible.
