Juging from the subject, if you're using IMP, you can get the 'Passwd'
module that integrates a interface to change passwords for users. The
new version includes support for the vpopmail, and in my case, I just
hacked the code a little to fit my install (very easy to do).

So... someone prior to my tenure here set up vpopmail and IMP, but it

I see where there appears to be some intended support for this, but it

Hey all. I know this may not be the right list to try, but I have posted to sork, IMP and horde mailling lists, but no one gave anything helpful.
I am wondering if anyone out there has gotten the passwd module for Horde working properly with vpopmail/mysql? I tried

I put together a quick hack to change vpopmail-based passwords via IMP. I've
only tested it with IMP 2.2.0 and 2.2.3. Check it out if you want at:

NOTE: It requeres local access to vpasswd, so it won't work if IMP and vpopmail

Hi. I am running

I have tweaked the authdaemonsrc file and set daemons to 20. Is there
anything I can check to
debug this ?
Logins via /etc/passwd work

rong. If you want the patches, contact me off list, as I'm sure they're already
in the archives of this list a few times over. They should be easily workable
into the newer code.

IMP does not access the mailboxes directly. It uses either an IMAP or POP
server. We have IMP running on our web server and Courier-IMAP running on
our mail server acessing our vpopmail accounts. Everything works fine. IMP
does not know or care about the authentication method used.

vchckpwd/vpopmail. I sent this message with it. ; )

could at least figure out a way to get IMP to auth with vchkpw.

Hi. Has anyone got IMP to work with VPOPMAIL ? If
so how would I configure this ? IMP seems to want to use the
password file to authenticate. I obviously want it to use
MYSQL for authentication.
any help would be a good thing !
thanks !
Tony.
