Hello. I am posting this question again after scouring the FAQ and mailing list archives. I can only suspect that my post is being ignored because the answer is obvious !! If it _is_ obvious, can someone point me to the obvious answer ! Here is it again: I am running: vpopmail 4.8.5 courier-imap-1.0 mysql 3.22.22 IMP 2.0.11 Whenever I try to login via IMP(webmail) to any account listed under ~vpopmail, ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) I get the following error on the console: vsql_getpw: failed select I can only login to accounts in the /etc/passwd easily. [EMAIL PROTECTED] logins do not work at all. What is really strange is that when I restart COURIER IMAP, I can login maybe one or two times before i started getting the above console message again. Subsequent logins always fail unless it is from /etc/passwd accounts. I have set up my authdaemonrc file like this: authmodulelist="authvchkpw authmysql authpam" My logins are authenticated with MYSQL in ~vpopmail/domains/*. Can anyone help me ? (please no flames im frustrated enough !) regards Tony
