documents. They all failed. Also, the clients got

instructions on setting up the spell check. I followed everything and
throughout the process it all seemed fine.

You've got View->Field Names toggled on. Go to View->Field Names and make sure
there's no check mark beside the "Field Names" menu item. Then try again to
place your picture.
