Welp. It was the HDD.it was "bad"...and on its way out...I made backups of everything?installed a brand spanking new 512GB SSD.(incredibly cheap now on Amazon.com!!)and installed FC32. Everything is all good now. I dunno why it was just Nautilus that was acting flaky, but I'm glad its
