Hello Unity-ML,
I get pixelated libreoffice icons too when not using the default icon size.
It looks like some sort of aliasing.
Hello Chris,
Keepassx does not integrate by default with other applications as far as I
know.

I reduced two values by half in ccsm on my test install, not perfect but
less annoying for me. Now I just have to push the mouse a little further to
move it on the other screen. I also second that it should not be in both
directions, just to bring up the launcher.

Hello Omar, hello Andrea,
I made the experience by myself some years ago that 1GB of RAM is not
enough and the situation gets worse when you use x86_64. Firefox may have
improved it's RAM consumption, but 1GB is really not enough and will cause
swapping when you use the system the usual way throug

Hi Pedro,
Instead I would propose to just remove the item in question from the dash.
A cleared history looks suspicious, unless you have the habit to clear your
history frequently, but then the history is not much of use.

Hi,
I would prefer to use CTRL+ENTER to open a list with the applications

I'm just reading an article on heise.de about x32-ABI again, that's going
to be merged into Linux 3.4. This might solve the issue for some
applications in the near future (may be in a year). However, I think that
should be discussed on another mailing list.

Hello Pedro,
How to become a hacker by Eric S. Raymond might be a good start and worth a
read. Even if you don't want to become one yourself you learn more about

That depends on what you mean by not respecting the needs of longtime
users. The vast majority is supposed to be upgrading from 10.04 to 12.04,
they never had that feature. You probably mean advanced users that have
seen Unity evolve and that have their own opinions about UI and UX design.

Hello Pedro,
Isn't that rather an issue with how the application (the twitter website if
I got you right) implements dynamic loading of content? Where is the issue
with the overlay scrollbars? Does is not work at all with twitter or does
it just behave odd?
I use another application that loads co
Ryan, the reference link in the first email shows an example. You wouldn't
experience this behavior if you use only a one monitor setup.

Hi Omar,
Another nice mockup with good ideas, I have to say.
I like how the trash can and the workplace switcher are done in the
second link on second picture. The trash can is always annoying me in
the current implementation, it doesn't have a nice icon and the space in
that corner of the screen
