I recently moved to Linix Mint on my netbook, reluctantly though because I
wanted to stay *buntu, but after trying Xubuntu and Kubuntu I didn't really
find that any were quite perfect.
After moving to Mint, I have to say I'm pleased with it. It has all the ease
and efficiency that Ubuntu used t
he xbox.
I already have a crossover cable, too.
So if anyone knows how to do it, that would be great!

out - I've taught 13 year old school pupils to do it. Word has a wizard to
help with most of it (Tools: Letters and Mailings: Mail Merge). You could,
of course, also do it in OpenOffice ...

I'd mainly want to use it to run some fairly simple programs (C++, Python)
and possibly host some tiny web apps (PHP) for a few little projects.
