I've had a few people ask me lately about the status of the Ubuntu UK GeekNic this summer, so I think it's about time that I explained it all, again. For reference, here is the Wiki page: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UKTeam/UKGeekNic2010 Basically, it has all ground to a halt because I have received little to no response outside of the Doodle Poll, (which has 7 people on it); Editing on the wiki for ideas fizzled out after the first few days also. I've also not been apparent on #ubuntu-uk for a number of reasons, pertaining not just to personal but also social. Anyway, if anyone has any ideas at all, or would suddenly like to attend, please scribble them on the wiki and add yourself to the doodle poll. A location and date will be decided within 2 weeks.
