Hello All, The GeekNic is occurring This Sunday, so we need to highlight a few issues and important things!
1. Food We've left this as a "bring and share" type of thing as it's not viable/fair for one person to bring everything. If you could all bring at least one thing, that would be fantastic. I'll try to bring at least one picnic blanket to make nomming easier :) (Bear in mind there are ~22 people coming to the geeknic!) 2. Travel We've put up info for travel to the park on the wiki at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/UKTeam/UKGeekNic2010 Basically, there is the bus stop and underground at Hyde Park Corner, with car parking at Marble Arch or Park Lane. 3. Location We are all going to meet at Speakers' Corner at 1pm - from there, we will move to our preferred location. If you want my mobile number so that you can catch up with us later, please just ask :) 4. Games Finally, if you have any park-suitable games, please bring them as well! There will be a mix of ages, and so it'll be good to keep everyone entertained! (I suppose this is more along the lines of Frisbee or Football, but I suppose Twister is suitable too!)
