How much data are you planning on giving people access to? Dropbox gives

Do you have another machine that you can use when this happens? If you do,

ability to share between users (and have them work on the document
simultaneously, which takes a bit of getting used to). There are
plenty of CRM and ERP systems that integrate with the Google Apps
"single sign-on" way of things. Since you can enable IMAP/SMTP support
relatively easily, you don't have to use the GMail interface for mail -
you can use whatever client you want, so having Ubuntu on the desktop
would be relatively easy.

I have played around with OpenShot (www.openshotvideo.com) and got some
good results from it, and Lombard (www.yorba.org) looks promising too.

Hi guys
Just got back from holiday, nice to see things are moving forward nicely. I
have a lot of backlog to catch up on, however will get down to doing the
google map as soon as google has enabled uk geocoding... still nothing as of
yet. I have a backup plan if we don't get any uk geocoding. I

First of all well done to SteveSmith, he has added so much to the wiki, it
is already starting to show results in getting more people to sign up.
Good job!
Regarding the map:
I have reviewed all the comments, and agree with some of the points, some
more so than others. To put this to bed, I
Very well said Mark, I couldn't have got anywhere near as close as that.
You make a really compelling argument as to why we need support points on
the website. I would appreciate it if the UK project head for the website
could get this sorted for us so I can put the support points site up.

A few days ago people suggested implementing the support points map, which I
said I would be happy to build it for the UK market. I have got the Belgian
source code, and I am ready to mod it to our requirements, however I have
been trying to find out whether we can host it. It needs a PHP, Mysql

A wiki page seems like a good start for this.

I have emailed across the relevant parties regarding the domain name and
hosting for ubuntu uk. I would like to have as much of it done on the wiki
and perhaps restrict the website to a forum and blog and perhaps a support
section.
Regarding the costs etc, I will try and get ubuntu to host the dom
It was regarding the support points, I can build a php based system, which
can do the same thing, but be more uk focused. We can use ning.com but
their support for uk postcodes etc is non existent.
Today's Topics:
1. RE: ubuntu-uk Digest, Vol 14, Issue 6 (Grant)
2. Re: ubuntu-uk D
I can draft up a script that will make it easy to add. I would suggest
using something like NINg.com to do it however they don't support UK
postcodes at all.

Keith a lot of people have this same problem, its my single
biggest issue ref ubuntu is the lack of a good frontend for samba. Good news
is that we are working on a nice network setup wizard for ubuntu. Bad news it’s
a google summer of code candidate.

Hi guys,
Since everyone seems to be intro'ing. My name is Grant and I work in
