Hello everyone,
A rather quick update post today. Not too many changes landing right
now, basically only a new device tarball and a qtmultimedia
bugfix/sync-up release went out. As already mentioned on this mailing
list the Friday mir landing introduced a regression in the bootsplash.

Could this be related to the keyboard issue I'm having now? When using the
keyboard, random keys are pressed in areas from where I'm typing. Its
caused more than one rewrite of this email.

Whatever has caused that bug, it will be fixed by a simple OTA to a good
build, when it exists :-)

If im not wrong i have also lost capability of adb over cable to phone
as well
i ve tested on two computers - still can access folders but access to
adb shell doesnt work
ive got developer mode enable and phone unlocked but get device not found
from two computers running ubuntu 14.04

black, and then unity8 appears.

The boot logo is pretty simple, and pretty low level. I just double-checked
by doing the OTA from 209 to 210, and as you might expect, it worked for me
(I still have a logo).
Worryingly, that suggests that perhaps something is more subtly broken,
(maybe part of the flash file system?), and fixing
There are some good examples of first run hints like in the edge tutorial
and a few of the apps - contacts, messaging and I think dialer
May provide a good pattern to copy.

im now on r210 seemed to happen on r209 update
ive tried hard reset and this never solved it.

That's how music-app is intended to work with the earphone plug/unplug.
music-app is not actually the one responding to the plug/unplug events, it
is in fact media-hub that does it, which is Ubuntu Touch's media daemon.

Today and yesterday i somehow lost the settings menu.
If i click the gear icon at the left side of the screen, the empty,
complete white settings windows pops up, with a spinner for a couple of
seconds and then the settings window closes again.
