prompt came up but during the process I was afraid that it was going to

Just put the screensaver consider idle setting at 1 minute, so then you
can put the display sleep time to as low as 2 minutes.

P.S.S. - I notice that there is now a version 2.01 of Memtest available
as opposed to the version 1.70 that is used in Ubuntu/Gutsy (and also
the same one that I had on my own standlone Memtest CD).

What I did was to go into software sources and I checked the box under
the updates tab labeled as "unsupported updates - Gutsy- backports".
I then went back to update manager where it prompted me to do a partial
upgrade. And one of the 4 updates that was listed was a newer version
of SUM.
Can some programmer please incorporate a fix as in the following (so we
don't have to find and execute these 2 lines at the terminal every time
we install Ubuntu) article/link ?

Why NO function on
I recently installed the release version of Intrepid on the P4G8X ASUS
motherboard computer and I still get the same error message.
If I can run Gutsy on this motherboard without getting this message,
then the integrity of Hardy and Intrepid is very doubtful in my mind.

using different versions of Ubuntu.
Go to the following IRS website and do a search/find for a IRS form 1040
(or any other IRS form as far as that is concerned) and then tried to
fill out the name, address, social security info

Yes, I set to NEVER in the power management section/menu. On occasions
I will want the monitor to NEVER go blank (say when I am installing
updates, etc.) and then on other occasions when the computer is just say
running FOLDING-AT-HOME, I want it to go blank after 3 minutes of
inactivity.
